Kori Dover To Head Food and Nutrition Outreach for CBC

Kori Dover, RDN has joined the California Beef Council (CBC)as the Director of Food and Nutrition Outreach, and will focus on reaching and engaging with California's health and nutrition communities about the benefits of beef in a healthy diet. 

Dover’s background includes a bachelor of science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Metropolitan State University in Denver, and completion of her Dietetic Internship at California State University, Sacramento. Over the past year she has provided nutrition education and patient care for the California Department of Corrections, Elk Grove Unified School District, Sutter Medical Center, San Joaquin General Hospital, California Department of Public Health and Women and Infant Care. 

"I have long considered myself an ‘agvocate’,” Dover said. “The industry that feeds you is 100 percent worth fighting for. In the world of nutrition, we are disconnected from the people who grow or produce our food, so I am really looking forward to helping bridge that gap on behalf of California's beef producers."
